The short version
- Wyrd Unbound is our Android game on Google Play, made by Warweaver Studios. It has no accounts.
- The only data it sends us is gameplay, performance and device data, linked to a random playtest ID. See our privacy policy for the full list.
- To delete it, turn off Share gameplay data in the game's Pause menu. The game asks our server to delete everything linked to your playtest ID.
- You can also email us your playtest ID at games@warweaverstudios.com and we will delete it for you.
Delete your data in the game
- Open Wyrd Unbound and tap Pause.
- If you might be offline, tap Copy ID first and keep your playtest ID somewhere safe.
- Turn off Share gameplay data.
The game stops sending straight away, discards anything it had not sent, deletes its playtest ID from your phone and asks our server to delete all the data linked to that ID. You do not need to do anything else.
If your phone was offline when you turned it off, the request could not reach us. Email us the ID you copied and we will delete the data.
Delete your data by email
- In Wyrd Unbound, tap Pause, then Copy ID. The ID is shown only while Share gameplay data is on.
- Email it to games@warweaverstudios.com and ask us to delete your data.
Because the data is linked only to that random ID, not to your name, email or Google account, we can find it only if you send us the ID. Copy it before you turn sharing off or uninstall the game. Uninstalling deletes the ID from your phone, and after that we cannot tell which data was yours. We may ask for information to confirm a request is yours. We answer within one month and do not charge a fee.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted from our server, straight away:
- every gameplay, combat, performance and device record linked to your playtest ID;
- every play session linked to it.
Kept:
- Statistics and models we had already made from many players' data before your request. They cannot identify you, so they are not affected.
- Your email, if you wrote to us, for up to 2 years after our last exchange, as our privacy policy says.
On your phone: your saves, settings and privacy choice stay in the app's private storage until you uninstall the game. We never receive them.
If you do not ask us to delete it, detailed playtest data is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or reduced to statistics that cannot identify anyone.
